Canopy Commission 1

Canopy is a mobile made from copper wire which has been treated with a patina, so that over time the 'leaves' will become green. The mobile is situated in an internal courtyard at Concord Centre for Mental Health. Moving gently in response to the wind, Canopy creates a place of contemplation.

As this is a large scale, outdoor work it was made with assistance from Crawfords Casting, an art foundry in Sydney.
