snowy

Snowy was an installation commissioned by the Historic Houses Trust of NSW for the garden of Elizabeth Farm, Parramatta. A mobile made from buttons, lead, fishing line and steel wire, Snowy depicted the original white horse of Elizabeth Farm, “Snowy”, who lived at the bottom of the garden.

I wanted to make a sculpture that was transparent and ethereal rather than obvious or literal. This is a sculpture about the memory of a horse.
