Bondi Public School

In 2006 I was Artist in Residence at Bondi Public School. The residency provided me with a beautiful, large studio in return for an inspiring and meaningful interaction with the school community. As well as having the time and space to devote to my own work, culminating in the Circumnavigation exhibition at Bondi Pavilion Gallery in 2007, I directed art workshops with Bondi Public School students from kindergarten to year six. As part of the residency I also initiated “Sculpture by the Schools”, an exhibition of sculptures by students from the Waverley area that is held annually at Bondi Public School at the same time as “Sculpture by the Sea.”
