My sketchbook is an important part of my artmaking process. This is where I write down my ideas and sketches for future works.
I find that as I am working on a mobile I start having ideas for the next and the next - I need to sketch them down before I forget them!
There are often times when I am unable to work, but if I have my sketchbook with me I can at least capture my ideas and plan what I will do when I am next in the studio.
